Nasolabial Fold Filler in Dún Laoghaire

Treating the cause, not just the line

What happens at your appointment
After assessment and consent, filler containing local anaesthetic is placed along or beneath the fold. Treatment takes about 30 minutes.
Results and how long they last
The fold looks softer straight away, with the final result at about two weeks. Results typically last around nine to twelve months.
Possible side effects and risks
- Swelling, tenderness and bruising, usually settling within a week or two
- Small lumps, which usually settle or can be treated
- Rarely, filler can block a blood vessel, which needs urgent treatment
