VERA MD
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly. With your permission, we can write to your GP after your consultation so your records stay up to date.
Can you prescribe HRT?
Yes. Dr Godara is a GP on the specialist register who can assess whether HRT is suitable for you and prescribe it. If you have a medical card or a Drugs Payment Scheme card, the HRT itself may be free at participating pharmacies; see Free HRT in Ireland.
Does health insurance cover the consultation?
Many Irish health insurance plans refund part of a GP or outpatient consultation fee. Please check your own plan; we will give you a receipt to claim with.
Do you offer video consultations?
No. All consultations take place in person at the clinic.
