Non-surgical Rhinoplasty in Dún Laoghaire
Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses small amounts of filler to change the shape of the nose without surgery. It can smooth a bump on the bridge, lift a drooping tip or improve the overall profile.
Every aesthetic treatment starts with a consultation with Dr Godara (€100, redeemable against treatment). You are never asked to decide on the day, and every treatment includes a follow-up review at no extra cost.
What it can and can't do
Filler adds volume, so it can make a nose look straighter and more balanced, but it cannot make a nose smaller or narrower, or correct breathing problems. Dr Godara will tell you honestly whether filler can give you the result you want, or whether a surgical opinion would be better.
What happens at your appointment
After a detailed assessment and consent, very small amounts of filler are placed carefully. The nose has a delicate blood supply, so this treatment needs particular care and experience. It takes about 30 minutes.
Results and how long they last
The change is visible straight away. Results often last around a year, and sometimes longer.
Possible side effects and risks
- Swelling, redness and bruising, usually settling within a week or two
- Small irregularities, which can usually be adjusted or dissolved
- The nose has a higher risk than most areas of filler blocking a blood vessel. This is rare but needs emergency treatment and can, very rarely, damage the skin or affect vision
