Nefertiti Neck Lift in Dún Laoghaire
The Nefertiti neck lift is a non-surgical treatment that relaxes the band-like muscle at the front of the neck. It can soften vertical neck bands and reduce the downward pull on the jawline.
This treatment uses a prescription-only medicine, so it can only be offered after a face-to-face consultation in which Dr Godara assesses whether it is appropriate for you.
Every aesthetic treatment starts with a consultation with Dr Godara (€100, redeemable against treatment). You are never asked to decide on the day, and every treatment includes a follow-up review at no extra cost.
Who it may suit
It suits people with visible neck bands and early loss of jawline definition. It does not remove loose skin or fat, so if skin laxity is the main concern, other options may be more suitable.
What happens at your appointment
Dr Godara will assess your neck and jawline at rest and when you tense the muscles. If treatment is appropriate, small amounts are placed along the neck bands and jawline with a fine needle. It takes about 20 minutes.
Results and how long they last
Results develop over about two weeks and usually last around three to four months.
Possible side effects
- Redness, small bumps or bruising where the needle went in
- Temporary neck tenderness
- Rarely, temporary weakness in the neck or difficulty swallowing

Common questions
- Is it the same as a surgical neck lift?
- No. It softens muscle bands and can improve jawline definition, but it does not remove skin and the effect is temporary.
